Russian govt eyes 4.40-4.99 GHz band for 5G - report

Russian Ministry of Communications has proposed using the 4.40 GHz to 4.99 GHz frequency band for 5G communications in the country, reports Kommersant. The ministry recognises that this choice would risk remaining behind technological progress in the field. The problem is that these bands are being considered for 5G only in Japan and China.
