Russian govt postpones full effect of data retention law

Russian government has postponed the application of requirements for the so-called Yarovaya Law on anti-terrorism, reports Cnews.ru. Under the framework of the law on customer data retention, operators will have to raise data storage capacity for storing customer traffic by 15 percent per year. These requirements will go into effect in the summer of 2022, instead of this summer.
