Russian govt says single 5G operator not a priority

The Russian government favours a competition-based model for the development of 5G networks in the country, reports Tdaily.ru citing Maxim Akimov, the deputy prime minister. The Ministry of Communications had earlier proposed creating a single private infrastructure operator for 5G development, due to the limited availability of spectrum.
