Russian govt to postpone introduction of eSIMs

The Russian Ministry of Communications has asked the government for more time to prepare the draft legal documents necessary for the introduction of eSIMs in the country, reports Kommersant. The new deadline would be December of this year, instead of January. The government has doubts about whether Rostelecom's biometric ID system is sufficiently secure for the use of eSIMs.
