Russian operators expected to invest RUB 650 bln in 5G

Russian companies are expected to invest around RUB 650 billion into the deployment of 5G networks, reports Prime citing Maksim Akimov, the deputy prime-minister. The government don't want that these funds to get spent on equipment from foreign suppliers, such as Cisco, Huawei and Nokia. Conditions of localisation of this equipment are expected to be hard.
