Russian operators oppose introduction of eSIMs

Russian mobile operators MTS, Megafon and Beeline oppose the introduction of eSIMs, which are used on the latest smartphones from Apple and Samsung, reports Comnews.ru. The operators said eSIMs could lead to price wars, and they also don't support Russian encryption standards.
