Russian operators point out low quality of local prototype LTE base stations

Russian operators Megafon, MTS, Beeline, Rostelecom and Tele2 Russia have sent a letter to the Ministry of Digitisation,  informing it that their tests have identified an insufficient quality of prototype LTE base stations of Russian origin, reports Kommersant. Equipment of the quality available could not be used on their networks, the letter said. The low quality did not enable the operators to reach the stage of field tests.
