Russian pay-TV subscribers rise 3% in 2018

Russian pay-TV subscriber base grew by 3.2 percent year-on-year to 44.2 million in 2018, according to a study from TMT Consulting. The pay-TV market grew by 10.8 percent in terms of sales, up to RUB 93.3 billion. The market penetration passed 77 percent, at almost saturation point.
