Russian revenue from connected household appliances to rise 70% in 2018

Russian mobile retail chain M.Video has announced that sales of large household appliances connected to the internet grew significantly in Russia in 2017, reports Vedomosti. Sales of smart home equipment in unit terms totaled 1.2 million in 2017, up from 800,000 a year earlier. Sales revenues jumped by 70 percent to RUB 29 billion.
