Russian smartphone market rebounds in Q3

Russia's smartphone market has rebounded from the Covid-19 downturn with a strong third quarter that saw increased sales year-on-year, according to International Data Corporation (IDC). IDC's Worldwide Quarterly Mobile Phone Tracker reports that 9.4 million smartphones, with a retail value of USD 2.19 billion before VAT, were imported into Russia from July-September. Total handset imports to Russia reached 11.4 million units in the quarter.
