Rwanda retains seat on ITU council

Rwanda has been re-elected to the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) Council for the four years from 2019 to 2022 with 131 votes. The ITU is the United Nations' ICT body and the Council is its governing body. It comprises 48 member states, of which Rwanda is one of the thirteen African representatives.
