Rwandans urge Google to update Rwanda cache on Japan servers

An online campaign is petitioning Google to update Images of Rwanda on its Japanese servers, New times reported. According to Jovani Ntabgoba, a Rwandan post-graduate data science research student in Japan, Googling the word 'Rwanda' in Katakana (Japanese characters) find content on 'Rwanda of 1994', which he and others say undermines strides made by the government after the 1994 genocide of Tutsis.
