SABC commits to paying royalty backlog to Southern African Music Rights Organisation

South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) has announced payment plans to clear debts to thousands of composers whose music is broadcast on SABC TV and radio, channel24.co.za  reported. SABC said the artists will be receiving their royalty fees as the SABC begins to clear a massive backlog of debt. The SABC had fallen far behind in its payments during its own financial hardships.
