Safaricom claims its services make public administration easier

Kenyan operator Safaricom has said that its products are supporting the government's economic agenda by enabling the "Ease of Doing Government Business". Joe Ogutu, director of strategy and innovation at Safaricom, said government agencies and counties that take up digital services can maximise efficiency in serving the public and reap benefits, such as sealing revenue leaks and improving record keeping and data analysis.
