Safaricom commits KES 65 mln to athletics series

Kenyan operator Safaricom has launched the fifth edition of the Safaricom Athletics Series. The series is now in its fifth and the telecommunications firm will sponsor it to the tune of KES 65 million in cash, marketing, event support and merchandise. The Safaricom Athletics Series has a line-up of nine long distance races and three track and field events.
