Safaricom hosts 2018 Safer Internet Day event

Kenyan operator Safaricom hosted the annual Safer Internet Day (SID) on 6 February, to advocate for the responsible use of the internet, at an event held at the Michael Joseph Centre. The event, aimed at promoting safer and more responsible use of online technology and mobile phones, especially among children and young people across the world is themed: Create, connect and share respect: A better internet starts with you.
