Safaricom partners with OLX Social Media Awards

Kenyan operator Safaricom has taken up gold sponsorship of the inaugural OLX Social Media Awards. The operator will in addition offer free high-speed internet connectivity on its 3G network to all guests during the gala dinner ceremony on 09 August. The Social Media Awards will reward organizations and individuals who have aptly used social media to bring about positive change across the social, economic and political divide. Safaricom also sponsors the Bloggers Association of Kenya Awards.
