Safaricom starts instant M-Pesa transaction fee message

Kenyan operator Safaricom has updated its mobile money transfer service M-Pesa to enable customers to receive information on the cost of each transaction automatically. As part of its drive to enhance pricing transparency, Safaricom will make the updates available to its 24 million M-Pesa customers in three phases, starting on 15 February.
