Sagemcom, GRDF, Suez form industrial IoT alliance Wize

Communications equipment provider Sagemcom, natural gas supplier GRDF and water and waste management group Suez have announced the creation of the Wize alliance to promote industrial applications for the Internet of Things. The French companies said the non-profit grouping aims to support development of low-energy, low bandwidth, long-range networks serving smart cities, industry and the utilities sector and has attracted interest from an additional 30 potential members.
