Sagemcom launches F@st 5360 G.fast home gateway

Sagemcom has launched and demonstrated the Sagemcom F@st 5360 G.fast broadband residential gateway at the 2014 Broadband World Forum, combining a Gigabit modem and home media centre. Billed as the first G.fast residential gateway allowing FTTdp deployment, the new product complements Sagemcom's VDSL2 Vectoring range and allows ISPs to deliver up to 1 Gbps on the copper network. Sagemcom and Alcatel-Lucent have been working together to ensure interoperability between customer premises equipment and networking equipment for VDSL2 vectoring.
