Sales of Kobo Mini, Kobo Glo start in Brazil

Brazil's Livraria Cultura is tying up with Canadian manufacturer Kobo to sell two models of the e-reader from 15 January. The Kobo Mini and Kobo Glo will cost BRL 289 and BRL 449 respectively, and will be sold in physical stores and via the internet. The Kobo Mini has a 5-inch touch screen, weighs 134 grams, and has 2 GB of storage for books and a battery that can last up to a month. The e-reader downloads the digital books via Wi-Fi or through synchronisation with a USB computer port. The Kobo Glo has a 6-inch screen and touch-sensitive ComfortLight lighting technology. It weighs 185 grams
