Salt no longer advertises Swiss Pass

Tuesday 11 August 2015 | 11:29 CET | News
Swiss operator Salt no longer advertises its 'Swiss Pass' subscription with unlimited use across Switzerland on its website, because railway operator SBB calls its new chip card SwissPass, suedostschweiz.ch reports. The provider, formerly Orange, received a letter at the beginning of June asking it not to use the name in its communication. Salt had launched new subscriptions after the change of name, including the Swiss Pass. SBB had registered the name (without a space) in the trademark register.
