Samart eyes One Tablet per Child project

Thai communications services group Samart is interested in participating in the government's One Tablet per Child project. Samart's tablet would cost less than THB 7,000 per unit and the company could supply up to 800,000 tablets, as the government requires, the Bangkok Post writes citing Samart president Watchai Vilailuck. Meanwhile, Microsoft Thailand is also eying the project as its is hoping to offer educational software bundles.
