Samsung adds ad-blocker support to its Android browser

Samsung has updated its Samsung Internet Browser for Android to version 4.0, which supports third-party ad-blocker software. The phonemaker has taken the lead from Apple, which introduced support for ad-blockers in Safari with iOS9. The upgraded Samsung Internet Browser only works with terminals running Android 5.0 (Marshmallow) but a version for Android 4.0 (Lollipop) is expected to be released.
