Samsung brings Samsung Pay to Brazil ahead of Olympics

Samsung will bring its Samsung Pay to Brazil on 19 July, in time for the Olympic games set to take place in Rio on 5-21 August. Brazil is the first country to get the mobile payment system, which enables users to pay with their compatible Samsung smartphones at point of sale terminals, thanks to both MST (Magnetic Secure Transmission) and NFC technologies. The system has already launched in South Korea, the US, China, Spain, Singapore, Australia and Puerto Rico.
