Samsung, Chicco launch connected baby car seats

Wednesday 16 May 2018 | 10:17 CET | News
Samsung Italia has teamed up with baby care brand Chicco to launch what the makers describe as the first connected car seats for minors. Available from the end of May, the BebeCare system allows parents to detect the presence and movements of their child in the car seat, sending notifications to Samsung ecosystem devices and smartphones during the journey. The system will integrated into Chicco's Oasys 0+ and Oasys i-Size car seats for children weighing up to 13kg.
