Samsung devices achieve approval from US Department of Defense

Samsung Electronics America said its Galaxy S9, S8 and Note8 on Android 8.0 Oreo were added to the Approved Products List for the US Department of Defense (DoD). In order to achieve this approval, Samsung worked with several standards bodies to ensure that its devices adhere to the needs of the National Information Assurance Partnership, through the Common Criteria for Information Technology Security Evaluation as set by the Defense Information Security Agency.
