Samsung Germany launches DVB-T2 HD box

Samsung Germany has released its Media Box Lite freenet TV box to the market. The receiver box offers a HDMI connection and is compatible with the DVB-T2 HD format, full-HD resolution and Dolby Digital Plus support. It also comes with a 40 station pre-installed channel list in full-HD quality. As of 29 March, digital TV transmission by antenna across Germany will be replaced by the DVB-T2 HD standard. The media box is available for EUR 99 at retailers.
