Samsung introduces Galaxy XCover FieldPro rugged smartphone

Samsung has announced the upcoming launch of its latest purpose-built rugged smartphone at the International Association of Chiefs of Police Conference in Chicago. The company's Galaxy XCover FieldPro handset is a 5.1-inched device that's equipped with Push-to-Talk capability and comes with a rear fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication plus a safety lock. It's IP68 dustproof and waterproof up to US military MIL-STD 810G certification standards and features a 4,500mAh battery, POGO pin charging and a replacement battery.
