Samsung Kenya seizes 1,000 fake phones

Samsung Kenya has seized over 1,000 counterfeit phones valued at KES 50 million in Nairobi. Samsung and other electronic companies now provide codes for consumers to confirm the authenticity and warranty covers of products they intend to purchase. The Anti-Counterfeit Agency has been working with law enforcement agencies to ensure counterfeit suspects are prosecuted.
