Samsung launches Gear S smartwatch in Chile

Samsung has launched its Gear S smartwatch in Chile at a recommended retail price of CLP 279,990. The device is the first smartwatch fitted with a SIM card for 3G connectivity, allowing users to receive notifications from social networks, calendars and applications even when away from their phone. In addition, the Samsung Gear S can make and receive calls, or get calls forwarded from a Samsung smartphone.
