Samsung partners with Vodafone, Aircel for carrier billing

Samsung Electronics has signed agreements with mobile operators Vodafone India and Aircel to offer carrier billing facilities for its Samsung app store, The Economic Times reports. Through this agreement, Samsung smartphone users in India will be able to download their apps and games with the option of payment through their mobile bill, according to the report. The service is available for both prepaid and postpaid customers. Samsung also said that it expects to sign similar agreements with other mobile carriers in India in a short time.
