Samsung plans to set up TV and fridge plant in Zimbabwe

Samsung has signed a USD 10 million deal with Zimbabwean company Cranbal Investments to have a television and refrigerator assembly plant in the country, NewsDay reported Cranbal Investments is the majority shareholder in ART Corporation. Cranbal Investments chairman Moses Chundu said it expects to spend USD 1 million on the television plant, which would produce TV sets ranging from 28 inches to 55 inches.
