Samsung, Telcel launch SmartThings platform in Mexico

Friday 28 September 2018 | 09:50 CET | News
Samsung has teamed up with Telcel (America Movil) to launch its SmartThings smart home system in Mexico. The SmartThings Kit comes with a W-iFi hub, a security camera, multi-purpose sensors and a smart plug for MXN 6,999 plus MXN 129 a month for a Telcel subscription with 30GB of cloud storage. The partners said the kit gives consumers the ability to create a safe and secure home and grow their connected home ecosystem as their needs evolve. Users can manage the devices and sensors via the Android and iOS-compatible SmartThings mobile app.
