Samsung to deliver 4G handsets for new emergency services network

The UK Home Office has awarded Samsung a 3-year contract, worth up to GBP 210 million, to supply 250,000 handsets for the new emergency communications network, reports The Telegraph. Samsung will provide the emergency services with water-resistant, toughened 4G LTE handsets, with a special push-to-talk button.
