Samsung's head of mobile division leaves company

Kevin Packingham, chief product officer for the mobile division of Samsung Electronics, has left the company, The New York Times reports, citing Ashley Wimberly, a Samsung Mobile spokeswoman. The reasons for Packingham's departure have not been disclosed. Before Samsung, Packingham was chief executive of Amerilink Telecom. He also previously worked for Sprint as a product executive.
