SanDisk has acquired a stake in Altair Semiconductor, a developer of LTE chipsets. SanDisk's investment through SanDisk Ventures will help the company further develop the integration of flash storage in LTE devices, supporting the 'Internet of Things'. Altair's low-power LTE chipsets enable a broad range of consumer and IoT devices to connect to each other as well as to the cloud.
