SandyNet to use Calix GigaCenter MU-MIMO

Monday 12 October 2015 | 16:22 CET | News
Oregon state city of Sandy's municipal broadband utility, SandyNet, will use the 802.11ac multi-user multiple input multiple output (MU-MIMO) capabilities of Calix's 844G GigaCenter to upgrade its gigabit broadband service. Through the integration of the Calix GigaCenter family with Compass Consumer Connect software, new features like MU-MIMO can be bulk distributed to all subscriber GigaCenters at the service provider's discretion. This cloud-based upgrade approach enhances service provider's service velocity and enhances the subscriber experience.
