SANReN says repairs to WACS have been completed

Repairs on the West Africa Cable System (WACS) have been completed, ITWeb reported. The South African National Research & Education Network (SANReN), a major user of the cable, said it has received confirmation that the WACS repairs are complete and that the matter is now resolved from its perspective. SANReN had reported the undersea cable fault on 27 March.
