SAP moves its Cloud Platform to Rostelecom's data centre

SAP has switched its SAP Cloud Platform (SCP) for designing applications to a Russia-based data centre, reports Comnews.ru. The data centre is owned by the national operator Rostelecom.

SAP has invested several millions of euros in renting premises at the Moscow data centre, in the acquisition of equipment, as well as in services and support for the SCP. 

Several dozens of customers use the SAP platform in Russia. Russia has become the seventh country where the SCP is hosted.
