SAP plans EUR 100 mln investment in partnership with Technical University of Munich amid skills gap

From the end of 2022, 600 employees of SAP and 130 employees of the university will start research in topics including the Internet of Things, robotics and mobility. The local state of Bavaria owns the property and will make it available free of charge for a limited period. Through the so-called on industry-on-campus partnership, SAP wants access to the IT specialists at the university of Munich to make up for the shortage of skilled workers.
