Sat2Way introduces 2 Mbps service for EUR 35 per month

French satellite operator Sat2Way has introduced a broadband internet service with rented reception equipment for EUR 35 per month on a two-year contract. The new pricing complies with the government's target of providing broadband services across the country at this pricing level by January 2010. Sat2Way is offering 2 Mbps downloads and 384 kbps uploads, with a data transfer limit of 2 GB per month. The basic plan usually costs EUR 29.90 per month, with the customer buying modem and satellite dish for EUR 399, but does commit the subscriber to a two-year contract. For its new service with
