Sat2way launches satellite internet service in Belgium

French satellite internet operator Sat2way has launched its service in Belgium, according to French press reports. The two-way Eutelsat satellite service requires the installation of a connection kit, comprising a dish and modem, costing EUR 479 for residential customers. Installation by a recommended supplier costs EUR 229. Sat2Way offers speeds of 3.6 Mbps downstream and 512 kbps upstream. There are four service plans depending on the monthly download cap: Basic for 1.2 GB at EUR 29.90 per month, Bronze for 2 GB at EUR 39.90, Silver for 3 GB at EUR 59.90 and Gold for 6 GB at EUR 99.90.
