SatCube-led project gets SEK 4 mln grant to develop low-cost LEO satellite terminals

Swedish public innovation agency Vinnova has awarded a SEK 4 million development grant for a low-cost Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite terminal project led by Satcube. Other participants are Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg, Gapwaves, and Forsway. They aim to create a terminal with "dramatically" lower cost, size and weight than existing LEO products, in order to help reduce the digital divide.
