Saturn to show off AR possiblities with Microsoft Hololens

German electronics retailer Saturn has unveiled a tour to show off augmented reality possibilities in its stores around Germany. The so-called HoloTour will use the Microsoft Hololens to project 3-D images and information into the normal field of vision. The tour will consists of guided tour of a real Saturn store, during which three new items from Saturn's product range will be shown. After a brief introduction, customers can put on the smart glasses and will see a virtual figure named Paula, who will march ahead of them through the store and can speak, too.
