Saudi Arabia starts TV channel geared towards younger audience

Saudi Arabia is set to launch a new, public television channel to attract young viewers and project a modern image beyond the country's borders, AFP reported. Branded SBC, the new channel will broadcast exclusive content including films, talk shows and cookery programme. Earlier this month, Saudi Arabia began a USD 35 billion drive to become a culture and entertainment hub by 2020.
