Saudi govt signs deal with Nokia to set up global software development unit

The Saudi Ministry of Communications and Information Yechnology (MCIT) has signed a memorandum of understanding with Nokia to set up a global centre for software development and support in the country. The Nokia Bell Labs research unit and a Nokia repair centre for base station HW modules will service the KSA initially and potentially the GCC at a later stage. It will develop training and internships for students and new graduates, too.
