Saudi, Japanese govts sign telecom cooperation agreement

The Saudi Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Japanese Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications to promote collaboration in the telecommunications sector, Arab News reported. Saudi minister Abdullah Al Swaha said that the deal focuses on human capital development, IT development and the quality of digital infrastructure, in addition to supporting technical industries.
