Saudi mobile and internet penetration approach 100% in 2018

Penetration of mobile phones and use of the internet reached almost 100 percent among families in Saudi Arabia in 2018, according to the General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT) . Mobile phone use reached 99.16 percent in 2018, GASTAT revealed after conducting a survey of families and individuals in the country. Around 75.19 percent of people of varying ages said they used a mobile phone, rising to 92.66 percent of those aged 12 to 65.
