Sckipio gets USD 10 mln capital injection for G.fast

Sckipio Technologies has received a USD 10 million investment injection from Gemini Israel Ventures, Genesis Partners, Amiti Capital and Aviv Ventures, to build ultra-high speed G.fast broadband modem semiconduction. The semiconductor company specialises in delivering ultra high-speed broadband using next-generation G.fast-based modems in Fiber-to-the-distribution point (FTTdp) architectures. The investors believe Sckipio will become the leading chip company to enable G.fast, a new 1Gbps broadband standard soon to be announced by the ITU. Sckipio said it is actively working with multiple
